Cheryl Cooke is a seasoned healthcare administration expert with over 30 years of experience. Specializing in Dentrix software training, she has spent 16+ years teaching dental and medical administrative courses in Higher Education, ensuring quality dental office training.
Her practice management expertise spans various healthcare settings, including dental practices, physical therapy clinics, family medicine, and internal medicine practices. She holds an MBA in Business Administration with a concentration in Health Care Management and is certified in Dentrix Software.
Ms. Cooke holds multiple certifications from the National Health Career Association (NHA), including Billing and Coding Specialist, Electronic Health Records Specialist, and Medical Administrative Assistant.
Her expertise extends to leading teams in achieving operational excellence through organizational management, dental and medical billing, and coding including CDT, CPT, ICD, and HCPCS. She has successfully assisted organizations with practice management software conversions, re-organizational strategies, auditing, and human resources.
